It is estimated that by 2020, my country's dry change market share will reach about 50%, which is equivalent to the current proportion of developed countries. At present, Europe and the United States widely used open ventilation H-class dry-type transformer, is on the basis of the immersion of the characteristics of the winding structure and the use of Nomex paper after the development of the new H-class dry change, due to the high price, in China has not been promoted.
 
At present, the dry-type distribution transformer with the largest short-circuit test capacity in China is 2500kVA and 10/0.4kV. The dry-type power transformer with the largest short-circuit test capacity is 16000kVA and 35/10kV. With the popularization and application of SC(B)9 series with low noise (distribution transformer noise below 2500kVA has been controlled within 50dB) and energy saving (no-load loss reduced by 25%), the performance index and manufacturing technology of dry-type transformer in China have reached the world advanced level.
