Welcoming July 1: The Chongqing Jiuneng Holdings Party Branch went to the Yang An Gong Martyrs' Cemetery and the former residence of Yang Shangkun to carry out party education.

This year, on July 1st, we celebrate the 99th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China. On this important commemorative day, the Party branch of Jiuneng Holdings organized all party members and activists to visit the Yang An Gong Martyrs' Cemetery and the former residence of Yang Shangkun to carry out party education activities. Through these activities, we solemnly commemorate the party's birthday, praise the party's glorious history and great achievements, enhance the party's cohesion and combat effectiveness, and review the party's glorious journey.
This year, on July 1st, we celebrate the 99th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China. On this important commemorative day, the Party branch of Jiuneng Holdings organized all party members and activists to visit the Yang An Gong Martyrs' Cemetery and the former residence of Yang Shangkun to carry out party education activities. Through this event, we solemnly commemorate the party's birthday, praise the party's glorious history and great achievements, enhance the party's cohesion and combat effectiveness, and review the party's glorious journey.
On the morning of June 30th, we arrived at the Yang Yan Gong Martyrs' Cemetery and the former residence of Yang Shangkun in Tongnan District, Chongqing, with deep admiration and remembrance for the martyrs.
At the Yang An Gong Martyrs' Cemetery, comrades learned that Comrade Yang An Gong began his struggle against Yuan Shikai and imperialism and feudalism at the age of 14. He joined the Communist Party of China in 1924 and was the fourth brother of Comrade Yang Shangkun and a revolutionary guide. He held firm to his communist beliefs. After being captured during the "331 Massacre," he faced the enemy's temptations and torture with righteous indignation, rebuking them: "You can only cut off my head, but you cannot shake my faith!" On the way to the execution ground, he shouted passionately: "Down with imperialism! Down with the rotten warlords! Long live the Communist Party of China!" The enemy brutally cut off his tongue, and he pointed at them with his shackled hands. The enemy cruelly chopped off his hands, yet he still stared at them with wide eyes, filled with anger. The enemy then gouged out his eyes. He fought until his last breath, demonstrating the indomitable spirit of a communist. He was martyred on April 6, 1927, at Fotuguan. Martyr Yang An Gong practiced his life motto with his life and blood: "Life is like a horseshoe, it only stops when it is worn out." At the age of 29, he composed a magnificent song of righteousness that shook the heavens.
Subsequently, the party members offered chrysanthemums to Martyr Yang An Gong and observed a moment of silence to express their respect and deep remembrance for the martyrs.
Inside the former residence of Comrade Yang Shangkun, all party members, led by branch secretary Comrade Chen Shurong, followed the guide's explanation to gain a deeper understanding of Chairman Yang Shangkun's glorious revolutionary history in the struggle for communism. From his youth, Chairman Yang Shangkun actively participated in the revolutionary struggle against imperialism and feudalism. Whether in times of war or peace, he always adhered to his communist beliefs, dedicating his life to the magnificent cause of communism and socialism. A series of pictures and artifacts vividly depict the magnificent and heroic life of Comrade Yang Shangkun.

The times did not choose for us to sacrifice for our country like the martyrs did, but I have a heart that loves the party, the country, and the people just like them. Forgetting history is the greatest betrayal. Each of us party members and activists should understand the arduous journey our party has led the Chinese people through, comprehend our party's decisions on major issues, and thus believe in the Communist Party more, support the Communist Party, and uphold and strengthen the leadership of the Communist Party of China. In the past difficult environment, the martyrs were able to sacrifice their precious lives for the revolution without considering personal gains and losses. In the new era, we must cherish everything we have today even more; we must take our predecessors as examples, bravely shoulder heavy burdens, and tackle difficulties. Time is long, and many past events will fade like passing clouds, but the firm belief inspired by visiting the red revolutionary education base will be forever engraved in our hearts!
This visit and study not only allowed every party member to understand the advanced deeds of the two revolutionary martyrs, Yang Shangkun and Yang An Gong, and to admire and reflect on their revolutionary spirit, sacrifice spirit, and dedication spirit, but also inspired every party member's sense of responsibility and mission to love the party, be dedicated, and contribute. Comrades expressed that they will inherit the will of the revolutionary predecessors, carry forward the spirit of self-improvement and practical innovation, remain true to their original aspirations, stay grounded in their positions, seek truth and pragmatism, and innovate, opening a new historical chapter in the construction and development of Jiuneng Company!
