At this time, the pebbles under the transformer play an isolation role, reducing the fire and helping to extinguish the fire. In addition, the high-temperature transformer oil can be reduced after being cooled by the pebbles.
Some in the pool do grille, and some do not do grille. If the grille is made, the pebbles will be placed on the grille. If the grille is not made, the pebbles will be placed in the oil unloading pit. Placing pebbles to facilitate oil unloading is one reason. In addition, insulation, easy maintenance, operator inspection, and work are also a reason.
Prevent the oil from burning when the transformer is on fire, and it will not block the oil drain hole at the bottom of the oil drain pit. The oil flows to the bottom between the cobblestone gaps in the transformer, avoiding oil pollution on the surface, and cooling the oil temperature when draining to prevent the oil from burning.
